Biography
Rex Getz is a full-time Rex grew up in Hoxie, Kansas and after college returned home to the family business. He continued to work on his magic skills and honed his hobby at agricultural functions is the western Kansas area. In 1980 Rex turned a special hobby into a full time comedy magic profession and the rest is history. Rex has performed at hundreds of corporate and special events throughout the mid-western United States. He is most well known to many Kansans as the “Magic Man” for Kansas Farm Bureau at their exhibit at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson. He made many connections with the audience and they came to the fair, expecting to see him. For 25 years he performed eight shows for each of the ten days of the fair, doing over 2000 magical performances for the many thousands of fair goers. His special blend of comedy and audience participation magic is unique and captivating. Rex and his wife Lou Ann reside in Manhattan, Kansas. |
